Oops,
he did it again
He hit a three, made you lose the game
Oh Peja baby
Oops! You thought hed miss
Or just pass it to Chris
But man, better think again
You
see the problem is this
When hes fading away
Cant block his shot and make him miss
You cry watching the mess
Cant you see, he is simply the best
But to lose all your nerves
That is so typically useless
Oh Baby

Too
close for comfort but a win is a win, I agree!!
These are the kind of games that the Kings
would almost assuredly lose in past, even
our better teams of recent past. I am beginning
to believe that we are seeing a new level
of maturity on this team. Peja keeps on improving
and if he gets any better, he will be an all
star for many years to come. C-Webb's overall
game is getting better every game too. His
rebounding and assist improvement are special
to watch. Vlade and Mike are still struggling
but with back ups like Bobby and Scot, the
team just keeps on rolling. Christy has really
stepped up his sshooting recently and his
defense just stays at the superior level,
7 steals, wow.
Now
for a day off and the Warriors on Friday night
and memphis on Monday. I hope the Kings do
not look past the Warriors and Grizzlies because
the next 4 are really tough. Need every win
we can get because february is shaping up
to be a brutal schedule.
GO
KINGS.....!!......GO KINGS......!!

I
think the comment about still being a little
rusty from the week off and Bibby and Vlade
getting back into rhythm is pretty accurate.
The Kings just seem "off" as a whole
for several minutes at a time then get back
on track for several minutes at a time. The
Nuggets aren't an especially "bad"
team, they've just had a lot things go wrong.
I can't understand why they want to get rid
of LaFrentz; if it hadn't been for him they
wouldn't have had much of an offense tonight
at all. You don't see big guys like him hit
those 3s that well very often, makes him doubly
dangerous.
Some
positives for the Kings: Bibby's shot is coming
back and he seems to be getting back on his
feet pretty well. Peja is showing more and
more confidence driving to the basket and
he's started using a semi lowpost move that's
pretty effective for him. Pollard is obviously
over his sprained ankle and Vlade's ankle
seems to be ok too even though his shot is
still off a little. Peja is rebounding better
and is becoming more of a defensive threat
than before. Hedo is becoming a force on the
boards as well & I agree that Christie's
offense has been much better the last few
games. I think everyone just needs a couple
of more games to knock the rest of the rust
off and they'll be fine. If you think about
it, they were just starting to really gel
after Webber coming back into the lineup when
they had their little vacation, and then with
Vlade and Bibby unable to play, things were
kind of back on shaky ground a little - and
yet they've continued to win so I'm going
to look at the positive side of all this and
put out good thoughts that the Kings can continue
this streak for a several games yet.

A
win by the hair on our chinny chin chin:
Boy am I glad this is over. The Kings sure
like to tease us right down to the wire. Final
score 112-107.
BoJax,
can hit from the air, from angles unimaginable,
but at the end with the game at risk, he can't
even get one of two free throws. It seems
like with the Cavs and Nuggets, the Kings
played down to their level, having to struggle
just to pull out a victory. Never the less,
I glad we won, ugly as ugly can be.
I
have to remind myself that Bibby and Divac
are just back from being off over a week.
Timing is still working out and rhythim is
still off. Back-to-back on the road at thinner
altitude and home team pride to win at home
by Denver tossed into the mix to make this
a difficult game for the Kings. Even Christie,
talking with Gary G., twice referred to the
game an UGLY. Ugly or not it was an important
win for the King, now .500 on the road.
Not
to forget that when injured players first
return to the floor, they are playing with
twinges of pain that limit all out playing.
CWebb, for example, is getting stronger in
his ankle with every game he plays; and, providing
he can prevent further injury, He will reach
a point where he can forget about the ankle
and go for it with maximum intensity. Oh,
how much fun it is to be a fan of an elite,
winning team--The Sacramento Kings--a pleasure
for all to see (when they can). I got out
in the sun today and shot a little hoop myself.
Came home wet with sweat. What a spiritual
experience!
Finally,
Charmichael Dave called in and gave an excellent
presentation on the air during which he worked
in A GREAT BIG PLUG for the BMF. I mean it
was solid, enthuastic and engaging.

I
can understand saving your energy for the
end of the game, but maybe they should try
to blow them out early and then sit back.
As long as they don't make a habit out of
playing like this.
Hey, how 'bout C-Webb flirting with the triple
dub again?
Christie was all over the court and hot shooting.
But what is up with his free throws.
Peja? All Star. Nothing more to say.
Bibby giving way to Bobby? Naw, I just think
he's 75% right now and Adelman is giving him
limited minutes to get better.
Pretty
important win tonight. Looking at the schedule,
they can really run this streak for awhile.
Putting pressure on the Lakers and Wolves
to keep pace is crucial.
Gotta go watch the Heat melt the Lakers.
