I figured I would (will) see a lot of complaining about the officiating in today's game. From what I saw there wasn't an abundance of bad calls so much as there was a few VERY obvious blown calls and questionable T's.

And I didn't count any of them in the second half when it was still anybody's game.

If anybody wants to really acknowledge why the Kings lost today the only thing you have to look at is offensive rebounds.

The Kings let the Spurs come into their arena and impose their will and completely DOMINATE the glass. How many second chance points do you think the Spurs had today?

How many times did they pull down a board only to go back up and get fouled? And they weren't missing their free throws. They were 20 of 21 at one point so every shooting foul was costing the Kings two points.

There are certain things you have to accept about basketball games. Poor officiating might always be one. Rec league, church league, AAU, high school, college and the pros. On every level you see missed calls, blown calls and inexplicable (make-up, star player) calls.

Bad shooting has to be accepted as something that is unavoidable some nights. Even foul trouble and some turnovers are understandable.

But for the life of me I will NEVER understand how a WHOLE DAMN TEAM neglects to box out for the majority of a game.

There were blown calls early in the first half. And there was terrible clock management in the last minute (why wait almost ten seconds to foul Parker? Pathetic) but nothing compares to the poor show of boxing out and rebounding that I had to watch for almost the entire 48 minutes of game time.
