MORE ON THE 76ERS GAME
CaliDrumGirl

Gotta love our "Cardiac Kings"...and Bobby Jackson is at the top of the Valentine list!! I think if they dug a trench under the basket and stuck him in it, he'd still score...

And DC? Man, if you're only gonna get one field goal, might as well make it a HUGE one!!! Granted, he had his hands full with AI, so I was not expecting big offensive numbers from him tonight...but sometimes the story just doesn't show up in the stat line...

Glad that Scot's welcome was overwhelmingly positive. I would guess (and hope) he was moved by that. He did a decent job considering how long he's been out...

Was curious about Hill, after having read a lot about him with the Mavs and Sixers vying for him. He looked rusty but I guess that's to be expected for a few games.

Once C-Webb got warmed up, was his shot pretty or what? And he seems to have been working on those free throws--good on ya, Chris! (Sweet story about Vlade's "birthday present" to him Saturday, too! Vlade rules...)

And how 'bout Vlade, huh? Double double? Great play all around? Not

bad, not bad. I'd say he's well out of his slump...

Feelin' much better about schtuff tonight than I was after the SA game. Who's next, T-Wolves?

I thought the Kings played pretty decent D as well, but not the entire game. In fact, I was pretty frustrated from about the last four minutes of the 1st through most of the 2nd. After watching the Kings score at will and execute their offense perfectly early in the contest, they started to fall apart and that's when I noticed the defense taking a hit. Especially Webber, and that's where I really could see him having a problem with his ankle. But hey, that's the only problem I saw with his game (heck, he only missed one free throw! ). Which leads me to...

- Webber again flirts with a triple double. Even at something less than 100%, he is playing out of his mind.

- As far as I'm concerned, the only basket Christie made was the one that sealed the deal.

- AI is just a terrific basketball player. Period.

- Welcome back Pollard! I was one of the many at Arco that was cheering loudly for you!

- And Pollard's return may have motivated Vlade. He played a solid game last night.

- Bobby "Braveheart" Jackson. Whew!

- And just why was Bibby on the floor instead of Bobby late in the game? How about the fact that he nailed all four of his late FTs to finish the 6ers?

- Maloofs. These guys are real people. Kudos for you sitting in the nosebleeds, giving up your regular seats for "fans".

Will someone call up the Hyatt and request a "Kobe" burger for Garnett?...
