I was pleased with the effort in the 4th quarter as well as the beginning of the 1st. They seemed to play the Kings ball. I was listening to the game via a Lakers radio station. The announcers were saying that they need to slow down because the Kings were controlling the tempo of the game too much and they were rushing their shots. It seems to me when the Lakers get pushed into a situation like that, they tend to fall apart on their shooting and rebounds. I was glad to here that Rick put it to the team during half-time about their complaining to the officials. B-Jax also said something in this mornings Bee about them complaining too much about the officiating and that it needs to stop. I noticed that as soon as Vlade got T'd up that the whole momentum of the game shifted against us. I know that it has been said time and time again but the complaining and relying on the officials to give us the game has got to stop. All it does is make us look bad and give us that reputation. If we want to win this Championship we need to start acting like Champions and play through the calls and the crap. They did that during the most of the 2nd half and it gave us the win. I just wonder how long it is going to take for them to realize this and change it. Bibby is the bomb!!! I was playing through a twisted ankle and made the shots that needed to be made. Rick stated that when Mike is patient then he will make the plays, the shots will drop and he becomes unstoppable!

Chris is beginning to get back to his old self. I know that he still has a little more time but it is a good sign when he is taking it into the hole and slamming it in with authority. He will be one of the go-to guys during the playoffs. Rick is doing a great job at coaching this team. There has been criticism lately for his decisions but when I heard that he told the team to stop complaining and start playing made me realize that he is not a hands off kind of coach. He knows exactly what he is doing and it showed on the court last night. He knows what the team needs to do and he teaches them what they need to do but he only has so much control. Doug put Kobe is his place last night! Kobe's shots were not falling when Doug was on him and the ones that were, he had to work really hard to get them. Doug is just a brilliant defender and bball player. He better make 1st NBA All Defensive Team this year or the thing is rigged.

Our bench is the best in the NBA and it showed last night. There were some sloppy things that they did in the 2nd quarter but they made up for them during the 2nd half. All we need now is to win more games and for Dallas to lose more so we can take over the #1 spot. Great game boys!!!
