LAKER GAME POINTS
Patrick204
Kings looked great
last night.
Beat
the Lakers now and beat them later. Who
cares who we get for the playoffs.
The
Mavs might be able to take the Lakers or
the Spurs during the playoffs. They just
need Finley and some more baskets. Don't
count them out. Nowitski and Nash badly
want to win and they are ready for it.
Gerald
Wallace is our secret weapon against the
Spurs. Let him rebound and drive against
Duncan until they both foul out. Wallace
and Pollard together could cause Duncan
some fits.
I
bet Peja gets past Bowen in the playoffs.
Just as he got past Fox in the last two
years.
The
Lakers will play as physical as they can
on Thursday, hoping to intimidate and possibly
sideline a King or two. Shaq gets away with
"clean" hard fouls that have the
force of flagrant fouls, and he will use
them. I bet the Kings respond in kind.

I doubt the Kings
'pack it in' and give more minutes to their
reserves...the Kings are only one game back
of Dallas and San Antonio for the top seed
although the Spurs own the tie-breaker.
So they have a legit chance at gaining homecourt
in the 2nd round vs. the Mavs (ehem, Lakers)
and making the Maloof's a few more dollars
with an extra home game... Some people say
homecourt advantage doesnt' matter, but
it does to the Malooooof's
By
beating the Lakers on Thursday, the Kings
would almost cement their first round matchup
with the Jazz and inch closer to the Mavs
for homecourt. A victory would also push
the Lakers into a certain first round matchup
vs. the Mavs (more likely) or Spurs...if
the Lakers do get the win Thursday, I'd
bet they make the 5th seed over either Minny
or Portland.
