Blazer Game Thoughts
Milos

Saw the game last night, enjoyed the victory but I must agree that Webber is playing with an injury. Seemed very obvious to me. He was too slow and he looked like he was moving very cautiosly - careful not to aggravate the injury? Take that missed alley-up for example. Even Vlade's 17 rebounds probably indicate that Vlade knows of Webber's injury and knows he has to grab the rebounds - Vlade usually just blocks-out and lets other players get the rebound but this time he was going for them.

If Web is injured, I don't understand why is he playing at all. IMHO, it is better to drop to the third or fourth place in the standings and have him ready for the playoffs than to overwork him and be the conference champions. Home court advantage is important, but these are not the old Kings, they can win on the road as well.

Besides, I don't think Kings with Webber playing at 50% are better than Kings with Pollard or with Peja as PF and Hedo as SF. Both Pollard and especially Hedo played very well last night and proved this. I would have kept Hedo on the court longer.

Hurry, only one day left to get this "Unused Kings Ticket" at eBay.  Nevermind that the game was 3 months ago! (I swear I am not making this up.)
If Adelman insists on having Chris in the lineup, then Chris should adapt to playing with injury not by taking jump shots, but by passing the ball around - it worked in the 4th Q yesterday. It's amazing how much better Kings are playing when they move around and pass.

And Vlade better work on those FTs before playoffs.

Wow, this guy was incredible yesterday....From his new nickname for the Kings bench ("Bench Bunch"???) to his pronounciation of Hedo's name (He Doo Tork o lo) to his lack of knowledge regarding Sacramento's improved defense he seemed to know absolutely nothing about the Kings. I'm not expecting these guys to be experts on every team, but it seemed to me he didn't do any prep work for this game....I kept expecting him to start asking when the Kings would put in Bobby Hurley.

I'll give him one thing....He is a world better than Mr. Bill "Charlie Ward is Amazing!" Walton......I have a real hard time believing that Walton can say the stuff he says straight...There is no way I could say that stuff without cracking up.
