Kings can play much
better, but a win is a win.
Malone's
jumpshots were amazing (in the first half),
in the next game Webber has to guard him
much more closely. Other than that, and
some mistakes in rebounding I think the
defense was good. Chris
had the ball too much in his hands in the
first half, and Bibby wasn't creating much.
More movement and more Bobby J. was what
the team needed and it eventually happened.
As for Bibby, he saved his best passes for
the final couple of minutes, seems that
he plays best when it is most difficult.
Who
kidnapped Adelman and who is that guy on
the Kings bench? I mean, playing reserves
so many minutes, in playoffs, even during
the 4th quarter - I am glad he did it and
I bet he is glad as well. Hedo was instant
contribution and JJ hit some important shots.
However, Rick, when Ostertag is on the floor,
you better put Vlade or Pollard in.
Finally,
can someone tell me what the heck was Sloan
trying to do with that final timeout, 5
seconds before the end? At that point I
would have put the entire bench in and told
them to foul whoever gets the ball - if
they want to prolong their misery, then
so be it.

If
anyone still has a problem with Jim Jackson
being in a Kings uni, you need to see a doctor.
I don't care what anyone says about him and
his game, this guy is the X Factor for the
Kings this year. Great addition for the team!
IMO, here are the reasons the Kings won last
night:
-
Adelman. His substitutions - particularly
with his reserves - were outstanding.
-
Jim Jackson.
-
Royal Court Dancers (OK, so they didn't
help the team win, but worthy of being mentioned
here! ).
-
The Kings back court. Not stellar, but Utah
has no answer for our guards. I'd like to
see Christie wake up offensively.
- Chris Webber. He is a stud. 'Nuff said.
