It
sure wasn't the prettiest game they've ever played
but they did what they had to do when they had to
do it-maybe that's what makes the difference between
a team being good and being championship (or at least
playoff) caliber. Webb had a terrible game but made
some shots that were big, grabbed some boards that
were crucial, and stole the ball in the last minute
of the game. Let's face it, the only guy who had a
big game was Peja and he was huge! But-everyone else
worked their butts off during that game, they worked
as a team and they never gave up. "Refuse to
lose" attitude, being tough mentally - that's
what wins ball games and that's what these Kings have
been exhibiting all season and tonight was no different.
This win was a better win than the blowout in Game
2 because they had their backs to the wall tonight
and they fought until they saw daylight. Hope they
celebrate all the way home, get a good night's rest
and then start working tomorrow on how to beat the
Lakers at Staples Center Sunday.

Congrats
to all Kings fans, especially all those who've followed
this club since they've been in Sac.
To
the ol' SacBee board posters . . . redemtion. We've
dreamed of a .500 season, a winning road record, a
home court advantage and a playoff series win.
It's
so sweet.
I'd
never thought I'd see the day when the Kings would
win IN SPITE of Chris Webber. I'm not sure I've EVER
seen him play that POORLY.
Hey
Chris, when you want to dog your team and question
their heart . . . well man, they just put YOU on their
back and carried you to the second round!!!
I
hope that isn't forgotten in the off-season.
Lets
go get the Lakers!
Everything
else is gravy.
Go
Kings!

Wow,
just got back from Arco. Ho hum, another come from
behind victory. Is there another team still playing
that could have as much confidence as this group?
I would be more upset with Chris, but I understand
this is not the Chris Webber that we had earlier in
the year. His ankle will not allow him to have the
same explosive game that he normally has. Luckily,
this team has another all star who can carry his team,
Peja. There were many players to be credited for the
Kings winning this series, but Peja just got better
and better and Marion kept getting shut down. Chris
will get his 122 million from the Kings, but he may
not be the best player on the team next year - and
that is a good thing.

They
started like they were looking ahead....
They
started like a few of them swallowed some granny smiths
in the locker room....
But
was there any doubt.....
Pollard
made the biggest shot of his life....
Pollard
made the longest shot of his life....
Did
Webber ever make a shot...
But
there was never any doubt....Well, was there?

Game
ball goes to:
DOUG!!!!!!!
PEJA!!!!!!!
BOJAX!!!!!
SAMURAI
SCOTT!!!!!!!!
Our
2nd Team Defensive Player sure clinched the game tonight
with his most crucial defensive play of the season!!!!!
Peja
shoots daggers, Bobby leaves it ALL on the floor,
DC plays his best ball of the year in the playoffs,
the Samauri leaves a pile of Suns bewildered!

WOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Ok,
just had to let that go. (4 Corona's later)
Out
of all the expert analysis from this board and, to
a lesser extent, the media, I have to say my wife
(who you could tell a basketball was square and made
out of cement and she'd believe you) has broken down
the Kings in this simple matter:
On
Sunday, during Game 1, after seeing the halftime score
with the Kings ahead says, "...don't the Kings
usually lose when they're winning?"...and tonight,
she strolls in at halftime, glances at the TV and
sees the score -Kings down 11-, and tosses off the
casual comment that, "...don't the Kings usually
win when they are losing," and walks away without
looking back.
God
I love her.

Kenny
Smith is proud to have been a KING, LOL!
(I
didn't know the Kings once wore Carolina blue.)
Great
win. I don't think Rambis learned anything from his
scouting expidition......except the same thing LA
already knows. STOP PEJA.
Funny
thing, I don't think they can do that anymore. Fox
will try to beat him up.
BEAT
LA!!!
BEAT
LA!!!
BEAT
LA!!!
BEAT

BEAT
LA!!!
BEAT
LA!!!
BEAT
LA!!!

Ok
guys, I consider this expectation met, and goal achieved.
Honestly, if you were told before the beginning of
the season that the Kings will advance into the 2nd
round of playoffs, you would consider it very satisfying.
It has already been the best Sacramento Kings season
by far.
From
this point on, everything is all bonus. Don't be pissed
and blame any individuals of the team if they don't
get out of the 2nd round. In the 2nd round, win or
lose, we should be all happy. No more complaints about
their performance, please.
Now
let's enjoy the bonus!!!!

The
first time to the second round, it sure feels good
after so many years. No reason to stop here. I hope
and trust that the Kings can make more history and
that we, the fans, can live it.
What
a great win! I really love Peja's team attitude and
his refusal to make it a Peja vs. Marion thing. I
just hope that C-Webb can somehow show up (heal a
little or get his head into being a King or whatever
it is) for the Lakers series.

I'm
so happy that I'm going to go outside and tip some

I
think one of the best parts of winning this series
is that they did it without homecourt advantage. I
know, they stole homecourt back, but they didn't need
it.
No
matter where we go from here.. I have no complaints,
I hope the Kings go and whoop ass on the Lakers, but
I will be happy with what they have done this year.
The games will still be just as emotional, but I will
still have this feeling inside that they did everything
I expected them to do. That being said.. lets kick
some Laker booty!
