GAME
NOTES
JB
What more can you
ask for? Knocking your opponent silly in
game 1 in their house. If that isn't a tone
setter, I don't know what is. And yet, they
have only accomplished 25% of what they
need to do in this series.
A great start though.
Reno
Lady
Aldridge asked Webber
why they came out so "angry".
Don't know if that's the term I would have
used, maybe "determined" or "focused".
Whatever it was, I enjoyed seeing the Kings
play that kind of ball again. I know they
can't do it every single game, but just
think how they'd be if they could.
Poor
Nellie; he had a year's worth of "Maalox
moments" tonight! Poor guy looked like
he aged about 10 years in 48 minutes.
The Mavs are obviously exhausted and it
showed. I don't want to take anything away
from how well the Kings played on both ends
of the floor, but I'm not taking anything
for granted against the Mavs either. As
JB said, the Kings have only gotten 25%
of the job done tonight. There's still a
long way to go.
Geez! Webber shot 60% from the field tonight,
Peja 61%, and Bo Jax was just under them
with 53%. When your 2 forwards are shooting
better than 50% for an entire game, it's
going to be pretty hard for the other team
to win. Let's
hope Webb and Peja have that same focus
the next 3 games.

I can't wait till
game two. When all that rust is worn off.
