TOUGH
LOSS
MiloshD
The lineup with Bibby,
BJ, DC, JJ and Keon was a completely and
utterly crazy idea. I don't care who the
opponent has on the floor, I don't want
to see that lineup ever again. It was absolutely
obvious to anyone with a brain that the
Mavs will get as many off. rebounds as they
want. I know it was "only" for
a minute or two, but every little detail
matters.
Hedo
was almost useless last year vs Mavs in
the playoffs. That't why I did not expect
him to play well last night. The playing
time during this season has nothing to do
with that. Hedo is a player who needs lots
of liberty and shots to get into rhythm
(hopefully), and Kings can't afford that
at this moment. He still has to get some
time on the floor because he is better suited
for defense vs Mavs than JJ or Wallace.
A
tired Peja is not helping the Kings. He
has to get some rest on the start of the
4th quarter, otherwise I do not expect him
to hit much late in the game. He tends to
shoot worse late in the game anyway, so
being tired does not help.
Every
bleeping player in the NBA has to be respected.
No matter how much they seem to suck, they
have some skills that allow them to play
in NBA. Leaving Vlade in the game to guard
W.Williams equals "hoping" that
he will miss open shots. That's not smart.
Some posters tend to say stuff like "Mavs
can't shoot like that all the time".
I sure hope that's not the Kings' coaching
strategy. They have to assume Mavs will
shoot like that all the time.
This
is long enough, so here's just one more
complaint. It happens so often that I frankly
do not expect it to be corrected, ever.
If it is not a open shot or layup, taking
any shot with more than 15 seconds on the
shot clock is just plain STUPID. Doing it
several times in a row is IDIOTIC. It shows
incredible lack of discipline that I simply
can't understand.
After
saying all this, I must add that the players
invested all energy they had in this game.
I just wish they could use more brains and
less energy. The next game is pretty much
a must win for the Kings. After last night's
marathon, I guess the team with more stamina
will have a big advantage.
