IT'S
NOT THAT HARD GUYS!!!!
Coult44
Everytime
they start running and pushing it they go on a run....I
can't believe this is the way we are ending the best
year in franchise history. They are playing like they
don't even belong...What is the PROBLEM!!!IF YOU CAN"T
SHOOT AT LEAST 35% you shouldn't be in the FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKIN
Playoffs....WOW, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep...SO
DISAPOINTING...So many questions, NO ANSWERS....I
would just be a man and say the fakers are a better
team. If they are making us shoot 30%, and they are
making us turn over the ball 20 times, and they are
making us play at their pace I would say that..BUT
THERE NOT, WE HAVE KILLED OURSELVES!!!
Saddened
for all of us, Kings we still love you!

As
I said it seems like the Kings are jinxed or thoroughly
intimidated by the Lakers. Their playing so far in
round 1 and 2 is a mere shadow of their play earlier
in the year. They almost remind me of the Kings of
old.
Reno
Lady you hit the nail on the headToo uptight! They
are forcing the game and the harder they try the more
elusive winning it becomes. I didn't even watch it
on TV, but listened to the game on the radio, while
playing on my computer.
Consider
this, though. The Kings played a darn good season.
I believe they were set back more than meets the eye
from their injuries. I believe that they were flat
out exhausted by the time they reached the end of
the season. At the same time, everything just seemed
to come together for the Lakers. And I give them credit.
They did what they had to do. They literally shut
down the Kings. It is obvious that the Kings aren't
quite ready for the major leagues, to use a baseball
reference. Nevertheless, I totally enjoyed their game
over the season and will be boosting them for an even
better next season. I think that they still need to
add a bit more athleticism in new players that can
help them get to the next level. This was a measurement
of their current abilities. Yes, I know the 2nd round
isn't over yet, but the odds are stacked against the
Kings really doing much more than they have done so
far. My Sacramento Hat is off to you, LA, you are
showing your stuff and you are undeniably on a roll.
What
a season..

Don't
know what to say people.. The heart seems to be there,
but there game seems to be gone... The Lakers played
a lot of good D tonight.. But the Kings could not
hit open shots either.. I hate to say this, But I
don't think Sunday will be any more than an exhibition
game. Its almost like they ran out of gas the last
couple of weeks of the regular season. I'm very proud
of what they have done this season, I hope they can
come back, but realistically.. I think its over.
Ok,
please just give me one good game!
Benard
Ok,
Lakers are better than us! But not a sweep kind of
better. Please just come up with one good game and
I will be happy. Even thought we had a bad playoff
series, this season still is the best since they have
come to Sacramento. At least we have taste what the
second round playoff is all about. Go Kings! I still
love the Kings very very much! Even we die, just die
like a man! Please play hard on Sunday, try to win
one for the fans!
I
think Peja just got too upset about the D on Rick
Fox. When he had the ball, he just seems never want
to pass. He only had 1 assist over 3 games. He should
just let the game come to him. He just tried too hard.
If he could not create, just let other people create
for him. I think he just want to show people Fox can't
guard him. We just beat ourselves tonight, not Lakers.
Please just win one game and send the game back to
LA. Just don't die on us! Not in our house! We have
never die at our own house (Arco) before!

I'm
surprised they lost that game. Am I the only person
who found it strange to hear Danny & JT yelling
about how much better the Kings were playing in a
game where they were down by double d and the other
2 games were cose?
They
did better playing shaq straight up. (I agree with
you Bo----you're dead if you double the tri)
Also,
what was with Ainge's throwaway line about Jason not
being a King next year?
Rather
amusing to hear Nate T talking about Shaq dislodging.
Got the distinct impression that he didn't have much
respect for Shaq's game.
I
dont' think Darth Stern was pleased.
Pitiful
Wyo
Pitiful,
really.
For
three years I have always defended coach Rick. I'm
giving up on that. These happy campers need the whip,
IMO.
If
I NEVER see CWebb and JWill sitting on the bench hiding
under those D towels again, it will be too soon.
I
love to watch Christie play D -- but -- the Kings
need some O from the backcourt and they're not getting
it.
Come
on guys -- get one, at least.
Nothing
wrong with Kings D tonight (when it mattered) -- problem
was, they missed over and over and over again from
2-ft.
Ainge
comment doubting JWill being in Sac next year was
right on and I suspect an "informed" opinion.
Ainge also said Jason has the goods and should have
a very successful NBA career if he gets his act together.
Count
my vote for Jason moving on (been saying this for
a year and a half).
WOW!
I think Shaq just called the Kings a bunch of cry-babies.
I absolutely hate dirty play, cheap shots and all
that but I hope to see the Kings play physical at
least one game.
Next
Year
The
Real JC
First
off I want to thank the Kings for a wonderful season.
I know the series isn't over yet, but it will take
some great basketball and a lot of luck for the Kings
to win four straight. My question to the forum is
what about next year. We all know C-Webb is 99.9%
gone. Who do we keep? Who should we package in trades?
Who possibly could we get in free agency? I hope C-Webb
stays, but I just dont see it happening. I agree we
need to get more athletic across the board.
I
agree that the Kings are better when they have a good
transistion game going and Jason is at his best running
the break. But unfortunetaly the half-court game is
part of basketball and if Jason can't adjust to it
and improve then we need to trade him and move on.
I love J-Will to but not at the expense of improving
the franchise and getting to the next level. I think
the Kings should give Jason one more year and if there
isn't any improvement he needs to move on.

Despite
the way it finished, it has been a very successful
and entertaining year. Very unfortunate that the Kings
just are not playing their best basketball at the
end. Let's see if the team can fight it out game 4
and atleast deny the Lakers a chance to close out
the series on Sac's home turf. For next year, I'm
thinking Webber will definitely move east. With the
thumping he's gotten the past two years from O'Neal
and how he struggles against the other top PFs in
the west, I don't think he'll go to the only western
.500+ team with cap space Houston. It seems he would
ask to be dealt to NY or Orlando. Although the knicks
have his friend Spreewell, the Magic are younger and
have the superstars in McGrady and Hill to take pressure
off of him to be "the man".
For
the remaining Kings, they'll need to work hard this
summer and contemplate what improvements they can
make in their individual games. I think Petrie will
try to use a S&T for atleast a solid PF to replace
the likely departing webber. Also if he chooses to
keep the defensive minded christie as the starting
SG, then perhaps find a more consistent shooting PG
to pair up in the backcourt. The kings starting guards
on the average get outproduced greatly by the opposition.
