THE
REAL KINGS...
1kingzfan
...showed up tonight...running
plays...playing solid D...controlling the
tempo...very few quick shots throughout...
How
about the strategy to hold fast on the big
3 and leave Raja Bell alone in the 1st?
That, my dear friends, was brilliant. Yeah,
Bell probably had a career quarter, but
the big 3 could develop no rhythm whatsoever.
RA
outcoached Nellie big-time tonight.
And,
as I and several others posted here earlier,
we needed players to step up, and brother
Hedo did just that and more tonight. He
didn't have a bad defensive game last night,
but he really shined this evening...and
the Arco faithful were really behind him.
Orayteks, you must be proud!!!!! (and rightfully
so).
Vlade
performed superbly as well (16 pts, 9 caroms,
4 dimes), and that will continue to be a
key in the next 2 (or 3) games. As Vlade
goes, so will the Kings.
My
fav player, Doug, finally had a true breakout
game, setting the tone early with his energy
and 2 quick scores and defensive wizardry
in pulling his weight to shut the Allas
offense down.
The
gym was electric, and the fans carried the
team on several occasions...a nice performance
from the Kings' 6th Man.
And
for all you "series is over" and
naysayer bandwagoners, what say you now?
It's 2-2 and a long ways to go to a conclusion.
Think
about it...Kings lose a heartbreaker that
they should have won last night, dominating
most of the way. Tonight they dominated
ALL THE WAY...and guess what? No CWebb...we
ARE that good.
Players
continue to have to step up in the next
2 games, and we absolutely need to keep
passing the basketball and control the tempo.
If we do, we'll be back in the WCF.
