The Big O

As I look at the future of the Kings I think they are set at PG with Bibby (and Bobby for at least 4 more good years - he's got low mileage), SF with Peja and Hido and/or Gerald, and PF for the most part (if Webb can stay healthy)

So if Petrie WAS to deal for a draft pick, I think he'd be looking for a two guard or a center.

I was thinking Sophocles might be a target as Pollard could probably be dealt for a late 1st rounder. Or a late 1st rounder could be had for a future 1st.

I thought Pavel might be a target, but the more I read, the more I saw he wasn't the guy, even before he backed out of the draft.

Bosh could be a target as Toronto's trying to move the 4th pick, but I don't know about Bosh. I only saw a couple of his games, and admittedly they weren't his best, but he looked like he's very inconsistent and has a long way to go.

And although iKing is wishing for it, I don't see the Pistons even thinking about dealing Darko. It would take Bibby, Peja and more to get them to even think about it.

As for two guards, Pietrus is the only guy I'd like to see Geoff go after. Wade is undersized and Hayes is two one-dimensional.

Of course, I'm sure Petrie is in his office right now thinking:

"Yeah, let's use a late lottery pick on an athletic, French two guard. It can't miss" :)
