HERE ARE MY IMPRESSIONS
JB

Starters:
Peja did not play. He appeared to be hobbling slightly when he came out to sit on the bench. Hedo filled in nicely and his shot was going pretty well. All the starters looked in pretty good shape. Even Bibby looks a little more cut than last year. The Bald Backcourt looked real good.

Doug even had his shot going. Bibby was fairly active on defense.Chris looks to be in great shape and moving better than I've seen since before last years abkle injury. He was kind of in cruise control and was over passing a bit. Vlade looks in fine shape and ready to go.
Key reserves:
Bobby was Bobby. the guy doesn't know the difference between scrimmage and playoff game. The biggest compliment I can add is that he looks as good as he was last year.
Keon is as advertised - no surprises. Came on the floor and had immediate impact. No plays run for him and yet mangaged to put up 6 points very quickly. They tried to set up some throw downs for him but all the passes were pretty far off target. He is an amazing athlete. I saw him behind the snack bar and he's actually a little shorter than I expected. 6'10" might be a stretch, but his arms are longer than Jerry Rice's career.

Gerald Wallace is looking pretty good. He seems much more under control and even more explosive. His outside shot is pretty streaky which is actually a step up for him. It is better, but it's not really reliable. Didn't really see anything notable from him on defense. He got beat a few times by Chen around the basket. Wallace had the most spectacular dunk of the night. He threw one down and I swear his armpit was above the rim. Wallace attacked the basket a good number of times and drew a few fouls - and hit his free throws.
Pollard was his usual self but he seemed to be a bit more aggressive shooting the ball from the outside than he has in the past.
The new guys:
I am pretty impressed with Sean Chen. He looked a little nevous early in his minutes and looked real unsteady handling the ball. After a few minutes, he settled down and looked solid. He isn't really what I expected at all. He had some early shots that looked like he was tight, but he has kind of an odd release anyway. The more he played - the better his accuracy got. What really impressed me was that he broke down Wallace afew times with some nice moves and pentrated to the basket. He dished off a few times for some easy looks, layed one in and was fouled on another. Sorry, no spectacular dunks as he seemed to be playing somewhat like the Euro guys who drive and dish. I think if the Kings were a little less deep, he actually might make a rostor spot. As it looks now, I would think it's a long shot. But he should be back because he can play in the league if he keeps working on his game.
If you saw the draft day tape of Edwards in college, you pretty much saw the same thing tonight. He's a beefy guy and probably nowhere near the 6'9" advertised height. I would say he's closer to 6' 7 1/2". Uses his body pretty well and has a nice flip shot. He's not real explosive and isn't going to jump out of the gym. He could make it on someone's rostor if he has a real competitive streak in him. He could have a career like Mark Bryant if he does. The only way he could make the Kings team is if Fundy showed up fat lazy and out of shape. Sorry, Fundy looks in fabulous shape. I actually wish Fundy could get a shot on another team because I promise you that nobody works harder than him and gets less reward. He was the best big man on the "B" team tonight and he seems to be around the ball all the time just knows how to score.
Of the other guys who may get on to a another team at some point, I would have to pick Jason Sasser. He had a pretty nice game. On one play he used a screen and nailed a nice 18 footer. The knock on him has been his outside shootin and tonight that looked like one of his strengths.
