ONE OBSERVATIONS

Good game. Very entertaining.
I was up in 204 RQ and from where we sat
LeBron was very impressive. I also thought
that there were at least 3 really bad calls
- especially the offensive foul called on
Massenburg. OMG
I
thought Brad Miller showed a lot of good
qualities last night. Good drive and determination.
Some nice offense and clean-up the glass
stuff as well as diving to the floor for
loose balls.
If
Doug Christie has numbers anywhere near
last night on a consistent basis, life will
get much easier for the Kings this year.
Bobby
Jackson is already a team leader, even though
His minutes come from the bench. I also
liked Songaila's game, though uninspiring
on the box score, I liked how he played.
Vlade
seemed to have some fire and some "in
your face" defensive pressure in him
last night too..
In
typical Peja form, he was on fire in the
first half, and then disappeared in the
second half. I'd sure like to see more consistency
there...Go
KINGS.

Kings were the vastly
superior team. Cleveland was the vastly
superior ATHLETIC team. A tough squad to
guard 1-on-1 across the roster. Kings' guards
could not keep up with the quicker Cavs
guards and that is what broke down the defense
for James/Bremer and their front line to
score. Kings TEAM defense has a long, long
ways to go...the rotations were just not
there last night. But this is understandable,
and the fans need a little more patience
as this "new" team with Brad Miller
and without CWebb gets to know each other
and how to play together. It's early. They
will be just fine. Cleveland did a nice
job to get back in the game, Kings did a
poor job shooting and running the offense
during that stretch, so we shouldn't look
for excuses to explain how that possibly
could happen. Let's just move on now and
see how the Kings do on pumpkin night against
a vastly better defensive team in the Sixers.
