| Speaking
of Vlade's passing, unintentional or not, Vlade's
off the glass pass to Clark for the jam was phenomenal.
Vince Carter has often said his best dunks come
off bad passes. Sure seemed the case on that play.
Was
that Peja Stojakovic getting funky with the crossover
and stepback? And seeing him take it to the rack
when the shot wasn't falling warms my soul.
For
all intents and purposes, Gerald Wallace is just
like a kid straight out of HS. His one year in
Alabama he was misused as a post player, not given
enough minutes, and put in a system that didn't
suit his strengths. And to think Barkley thought
he should have stayed in college another year
and it would have been better for his development
than being on the Kings. His
improvement is amazing and fun to watch. Teams
have to start guarding him from taking the 15-20
ft jumper and then he'll be exploding the rim
even more often.
Question:
Why wasn't Hido matched up on Gasol more? Clark
did OK (although he was torched early on) but
when he was out or guarding someone else, Fundy
and Vlade were no match for him. And
what was up with Vlade getting into it with Pau?
It seemed very one-sided to me. Weird.
How
many points did Bobby finish with? And of those,
how many were from 2 feet following a cut and
a pass from a teammate? Seemed like all of them.
For
one of our European friends, what happened to
Antonio Fotsis? Not NBA ready? Or was there just
more money overseas?
Finally,
my most random thought of all: I've been home
sick since Wednesday. I'd never seen it previously,
but for anyone else who has seen that Good Day
show on 31 that follows Good Morning Sacramento
(the one with Jillian Barberie from the Fox NFL
pregame show), is that the WORST program ever
created? I
watched it for almost half an hour because I couldn't
believe the level of crappiness it reached.
Sorry,
just got that stuck in my brain. So, how bout
that Hido tonight? :)
