NO
GUTS, NO HEART, NO GLORY
TMH1
No
guts, no heart, no glory. This team should
be alarming us Kings fans. They have yet
to exemplify any heart whatsoever. Having
injuries is one thing but there is no excuse
for not playing with heart. Where are the
damn floor burns? This team will not be
able to turn it on like the Lakers in April.
I am not a bandwagoner and I am not jumping
ship. I just can't stand watching a team
that can't match the intensity of the other
squad. Pathetic.
I there are injuries but no excuses for
a team that wants to win a championship.
This is a team that expects to be in contention
for the ring. They have to set the tone
early in the season against their competition.
If I am a Sonic fan then I feel great about
their chances against the Kings. This team
is beatable. Easily. If you hustle for loose
balls, contend for every rebound, and take
them to the hole this team is soft. There
is no weak-side help at all on defense and
the players are not stopping the ball penetration.
Defense is played with the feet. The Kings
are not putting themselves in front of their
man. When they let them by there is nobody
stepping up and putting a body on them.
I can't remember when I've ever seen a team
dunk so much on this team. The rest of the
league is watching. I hope the Kings take
notice and give themselves a gut check.
What is it going to take to motivate these
guys? They are 6-4. Last year without Webber
they were 19-5. It is a different season.
MEDIOCRE,
NOT AWFUL

The
Kings played a game that would have beaten
half the NBA, fair shooting and good outside
defense. The remarkable thing was their
mediocrity in defending the post and getting
rebounds. Chris shot well but didn't rebound.
Vlade was ok but not sharp.
If
Peja had played or Heo for that matter,
they might even have won against Seattle.
Hope to see them both back soon. Seattle
is clearly in the groove right now. And
the Kings are not in top form. But
they will be back.
