You
take a star player out of any lineup, and that's
what you get. For the Kings, losing your best
passer is crucial because of the the way they
play. With the Lakers, their offense runs through
Shaquille O'Neal, so losing him is tough.
At
least with the Kings, they can still play their
game to some degree. But the Lakers can't run
things through Samaki Walker and still expect
to survive long term.

In
'98 when Scottie had a foot operation, the Bulls
were really out of sync and sleepwalking.
Finally Dennis spoke up and said they had to suck
it up and win without Scottie. He wore a pair
of pajamas to work to make his point.
Anyway, they woke up......and MJ & dennis
put together a string of 20 rebound, 40 point
games and held it together till scottie got back
in December.
If the Kings have the mental toughness to go all
the way, that's what they'll do....and I think
they will.
I think it's good in the long run. It was good
for the team to know they could win without Chris......same
thing with Bibby. It's hard without Scot.....but
it seems to me they're just going to have to stop
deferring (sp) to Clark and let him fight his
own way into the system.....if they want to fix
the rebounding problems.

Just
a side note.. Anyone remember what Charles Barkley
said he is gonna do when Yao Ming score 19 points?
He has 20 tonight. :)
