continue
to be productive. That's his third good game in
a row - by 'good', I mean that the Kings would
have had a much harder time winning without his
contributions.
Y'know, I really didn't expect Hedo to hit those
free throws with his eyes watering after falling
on his face. That's a big time player. (not quite
up there with Jordan telling Mutombo he'd shoot
one with his eyes closed and making it, but not
bad, not bad at all)
It looks to me like the only reason he's able to
contribute right now is sheer athleticism and instinct.
Stuff he can do without thinking. So many times
he gets thrown the ball and just starts looking,
looking, looking for somewhere to get rid of it.
Hopefully that will be cleared up by the All-Star
break. That
said, he, Webber and Wallace make a fearsome defensive
unit. They have similar strengths and really work
well together from what I've seen. Wallace has really
come along, and could stand to have a few more plays
run for him.
Play
of the game: I can't choose between Hedo's FT's
and Damon's awesome steal and layup over Pippen
in the fourth. That was a great finish, and I
thought it changed the momentum. Certainly wouldn't
hurt to keep this guy around for the duration
at his salary. He rarely screws up, and occasionally
does something great. nice player. The
Kings are still on pace for 15-5! Way to go!

Kings
fought hard for that one. The refs were calling
nothing but at least doing it consistently.
Hedo
came through when it mattered. Webber did not.
In the last five minutes or so he contributed
one huge rebound but turned the ball over several
times, missed two of two at the line and had brain
freeze just about every time he touched the ball.
Why,
in the world, did Portland send the guy who was
burying everything, to the bench with a couple
of minutes to go. Thanks Mo!
Wallace
(ours) may have even more energy than BJ. I wish
he got more minutes.
Good
win on the road.
