WHAT A WELL ROUNDED GAME TONIGHT.

Great contributions from Wallace, Webber and Christie. Jackson (Bobby) had an outstanding second half. Must be due to his changing his shirt at halftime to the jersey without the B. initial in front of his name.

Jim Jackson looked a little rusty, but all in all had a helpful game for us. (Did anyone else think he looked a little like Corliss out there?). Vlade did a nice job of schooling Yao Ming with his myriad moves around the hoop, including a very nice drive and dunk. Keon contributed some nice defense and blocks as well.

All in all, everybody wearing a Kings uniform tonight helped this team win. We were fortunate that Cuttino Mobley was out. As Doug said, his absense allowed him to range a bit and go after soft passes and plug the passing lanes.

One more win and we match last year's impressive 15-5 start. Last year without Webber.. This year without Bibby (and Peja, and Hedo, and Scot, and ...)

Great game all around! Six Kings in double figures, Bobby and Doug each had 4 steals, and the defence was amazing--and fun to watch! Not to mention those killer dunks from Gerald--are those a thing of beauty or what! (Along with those Damon Jones 3's, and a couple of Doug's sideways-slice dunks, and Vlade giving Yao a good education in the art of playing center...)

I gotta give the Rockets credit--they never looked like they were just giving up. And Yao is going to be hella fun to watch as his career develops.
