My
first Kings game at Arco definitely did not
disappoint! It was fun, it was an exciting
game--the Kings always managed to keep control,
even though it got close a couple of times.
Bobby was truly amazing...and how fun is it
to watch Gerald dunk!! Six guys in double
figures--once again, a true team effort. Once
Keon got on Garnett he pretty well shut him
down, and our D was overall looking pretty
good--a couple flobers here and there, but
overall the usual straitjacket D we've come
to know and love by D.C., Bobby, et al.
Again,
BenchMobMama and Bonnie49erKings, you ladies
totally ROCK! Thanks for a badly needed and
wonderfully uplifting evening out! And JB
it was good fun meeting you and sitting by
you for the game. (Were you laughing when
I yelled "B****cks!" to the ref
after that one call? )
Much
like the vibe in our living room, when Vyan,
my son Nathan, and I watch the games on TV...just
with 17,000 good friends joining in the fun!
And it was a good, enthusiastic crowd. Definitely,
I'm hooked...I hope to have more opportunities
to see the guys play...should things improve
for us, we're going to get to as many games
as we can! (In the interim--anyone got any
empty packing boxes they don't need? ) Can
you tell, I'm still "amped"!

WOW! I went out to my
truck during my break I heard that BOJAX hit
a three to put the game At 67-63. Then the
T-Wolves countered with a three of their own
to make it 67-66. Then I had to go back to
work to worry/hope/pray until I got off work.
I almost fell and skinned my knee, running
back to the truck. YES! We did it again! 15-5
for the first 20 games! This time with not
one(Mike Bibby), not two(Peja), not three
(Pollard), but four (Hedo) major minute guys
missing multiple games. I knew the Kings were
deep, but the Kings are D-E-E-P!
Calidrumgirl: I'm glad you got to see ARCO
at its best. In the two minutes I listened
to the radio I could tell the fans were AWESOME!.
