MORE ON THE GAME
Rookie

For anybody that hasn't gotten to watch a Kings game at Arco from the lower bowl, I would highly recommend it!! A totally different experience. I was amazed at how FAST the game feels from that perspective. The floor seemed small, and it seemed so crowded!! SamauraiGirl31, you will have a blast when you get to go in January!!

The biggest bonus is getting to see the expressions on the faces of the players!! And to hear the sounds of them running up and down the floor, and the ball bouncing, etc. From the 5th row, it was like a thundering herd.
Gerald Wallace must be very bruised and battered this morning; he just kept flying into the crowd, and I mean flying!! I can't believe how big these guys really are!!

The first quarter was the most exciting, and it seemed to get less and less intense as it went along. Other than the beginning of the 3rd quarter seemed to get really physical - bodies flying everywhere!! The Nuggets were determined to come out and get back into that game by mugging any King that got his hands on the ball. Glad to see the Kings didn't come out in the 3rd quarter and totally let down like they did in Denver; although it seemed like neither team wanted the ball there for a while.
On the fan participation front, the wave was just too cool!!! Kind of seemed like the fans decided if the arena wasn't going to do anything to get the crowd going, they'd do it themselves!! The players kept glancing up into the crowd as the wave of sound moved around the arena; it was fun.

I'm off to go nurse my hangover somemore - I had TOO MUCH FUN!! Arco is just the place to be, no matter who the Kings are playing.

GO KINGS!!

Interesting stat here. In the last 10 games, the team with the best record (9-1) is not the Dallas Mavericks (8-2) the Indiana Pacers (7-3) or Philidelpia (8-2), but the Utah Jazz (9-1)! Oh, and YOUR SACRAMENTO KINGS too Props to the team for continuing to win despite the odds and the injuries Tough stretch coming up here, starting in San An, then Houston (playing much better), and on to Utah, where the old geezers seem to be pretty re-vitalized. A good challenge for our make-shift line-up. At least the games are spread out well, no back to backs, and even a 3 day stretch where they might conceivably be able to get in a little practice.

One of the things I love about being a Kings fan, our team plays with passion, heart and a love of the game. Glad I don't have to wait for them to 'flip the switch' or sleep-walk their way through the regular season. I would find that attitude to be totally unacceptable, not something to be proud of at all.

SWEEtness

I'm not proud of it, but I actually caught myself rooting for the Lakers in their comeback. That look on Cuban's face was classic. He was so cocky through the whole game, and when the Lakers started closing in, he looked like he swallowed his sneakers. It didn't really matter to me who won or lost this one. I just wanted Dallas to struggle a little. All I wanted was a Kings win...and of course they do. Wish I could have seen it.
