So
to make a long story short, whenever anyone talks
smack about the Kings and/or their players they
begin to have bad things happen to them...The
Lakers are at the bottom of the barrel and the
hole is getting deeper, the Giz went on a HUGE
losing streak, and then the Hornets lose BIG to
us.
I
love this GAME!!!!
Reno
Lady
2
good wins for the Kings over the weekend. The
Jazz game was........interesting? Both calls at
the end of the game, one against the Kings, one
against the Jazz were replayed 2 or 3 times and
I couldn't see where either one was legitimate.
I think the call against Amaechi was a makeup
for the one against Bobby he didn't commit, which
sent Stockton to the line for the game winners.
I was surprised Stockton missed one of those BTW.
Webber
was the thing in that game he gets knocked most
for - clutch. Making those 4 FTs at the end of
the game were huge for the Kings. Jazz fans should
be ashamed of themselves - at least those who
threw stuff at the refs. How ridiculous. On the
other hand, the league better get used to that
kind of thing happening if they're not going to
see to it their refs do a better job. Stu Jackson's
comments about " slippery slide" are
more apropos than he realizes.
I
loved seeing Peja getting into the thick of things
so quickly after his return. I know there were
some who knocked him for his performance his first
game back, just as some did Webber when he first
came back last year. I just think those are people
who don't really understand about players coming
back from injuries and needing a game or 3 to
get their timing back and get in sync with everyone
again. Will someone please tell the Kings to guard
David Wesley? I couldn't believe how many open
shots he got last night - and made most of them.
Hello! He's one of the better 3 point shooters
in the league and the Kings ignored him for a
lot of the first half last night. Geez! Was
it my imagination or did Webber purposely bounce
the ball on PJ Brown's foot last night? I know
Brown was really crowding Webber and it looked
like Chris had enough and took it out on Brown's
foot. The Hornets tried to get physical with the
Kings last night but it didn't work. They were
trying especially hard with Peja, maybe thinking
he'd get flustered. Maybe they haven't figured
out Peja's quite a bit tougher than when he came
into the league and he doesn't fluster much any
more, he just gets irritated, then he gets even.
